Today, it's a simple challenge, hypothetically and it goes like this; show us your Top Ten Cars. Cost is no obstacle, as is so common with these exercises in futility, yet for some reason reality is and don't ask me what rules that implies because I don't have a clue. And for bonus points, give us an idea of what your super garage looks like, with your words or pictures or both. Oh, and there's one caveat - whatever you own now, however many cars you own currently, must take up spaces on your list because that's just the kind of dick move I'd pull.

Too hard to do right-there's too many cars I like, and the list I make this time might be totally different than the one I would make tomorrow because some cars I might forget or something. BUT I will do it anyway I guess.
Aston Martin Vanquish (new one)
McLaren P1
Lexus IS300 (current car)
Eunos Cosmo
Saab 9-3 TurboX
Lexus IS-F
Lexus LFA
Toyota Supra Mk4 Twin Turbo
Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Series

1. 2006 Ford GT
2. 1969 Dodge Charger
3. 1987 Ferrari 288 GTO
4. 2001 BMW 750
4. 1996 Lotus Esprit V8
7. 1989 Porsche 911
8. 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis (current)
9. 2003 Ford Crown Vic (current)
10. 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis (current)
As far as super garage goes, a building large enough to store all these cars and enough space to move each one independently as well as a separate room for a shop with all the modern tools and a lift.

The 288 GTO is quite possible my favorite Ferrari ever.

Ford RS200
73 or earlier Porsche 911E or 912, sunroof or targa, or a 914
Lotus Esprit S4S
Ferrari Mondial 8 preferably in blue or white, but any color except red would do
Lotus Elan M100
98 Odyssey H22/23 VTEC swap
70s Celica
RHD diesel Wrangler
Lamborghini Espada
I only own one car, a 96 ES300, but of course it would be fully restored and shit. Would the caveat rule allow me to swap a car of the same year/make/model that wasn't crashed and has heated seats? And of course, the 92-96 Camry/ES300 is the best car ever made.
Damn only 10 cars? Too bad, because I could fill this list with cheap-ish condition special cars. Like if it was a budget question like "your $500k dream garage" I'd have a warehouse full of 2k-20k classics.

Too tired to google search pictures so I'll just list in no particular order.
Honda Accord (following the rule with my current DD)
Aston Martin Rapide (I have 2 kids)
BMW M5 (would be my DD)
'69 GTO Judge
'70 Plymouth Hemi Superbird
Ferrari F40
Lamborghini Gallardo (DD when I don't have my kids)
Ferrari F12
Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet
Ferrari 512 TR
The garage would of course have to fit at least 15 cars so I had room to work on stuff. There are about 20 others that could easily make my list but I picked the ones that would be drivable most often (except the F40). I'd put snow tires on the Accord and use it for nasty weather driving.

Caterham Roadsport
Ferrari 599 GTB (last of the gated manuals)
McLaren F1
McLaren P1
Alfa Romeo 4C
1971 Plymouth GTX 440+6 with 4-speed
C7 Corvette Stingray, whenever the Z06 comes out.

My list starts with my current car (pictured below) but with notable additions afforded me by the fact that in this scenario I'm fabulously wealthy. This would include, but not be limited to, a full rebuild of the engine with the addition of forced induction, wheels, tires, brakes and suspension and likely a few body mods, too. While but a lowly V6, I'd make sure that 4.0L Cologne could put up a good fight and that the rest of the car would follow. If I could, if they'd take the job, I'd have that six worked over by Shelby America.
Next on my list is the first car I'd buy after apparently getting lottery rich, or discovering a long lost inheritance from some distant and rich family member, and that's a CTS-V Sportwagon. I've loved this car since it launched, I'm a sucker for a wagon, and it's the perfect vehicle for hauling around kids, dogs and groceries or just hauling ass. With my riches, I'd have it massaged by Hennessey and bodied by Canepa (because I love the crazy power and the wide-body look).
Third up, my Japanese obsession. Alrighty, so we're assuming price is no object which means I don't have to compromise my wants, I get to stick to my tastes without angling for the cheaper, more affordable version of said wants. To which end, my garage has a Hakosuka Skyline. It's quite modified, though very tastefully, and probably comes from the hands of a shop like JDM Legends because they just capture so well what I love in that car. So, #3 gets Hako'd.
In fourth spot is the Hako's number one, real world I-Wants contender; a Volkswagen Type 3 Squareback. The later the better, up to '73 and it too would be heavily modified. In back would be a Porsche, air-breathing six and most of the cars underpinnings would borrow from the 911's of the day. It'd roll on Fuchs wheels, sound raspy and ready, and generally be a wonderful summer driver for myself and the family... because wagon.
The fifth and sixth spots would be filled by two cars that I absolutely love. They are the perfect compliment for one another and the perfect rivals, too. They are the Mercedes 190E Evo and the BMW M3 Evo2. Once, a lucky man stumbled upon a "barn find" containing each and since that day, I've though there could be no two better cars to park in your rich-man's garage, side by side.
Also, a Porsche. Not just any Porsche, but the 912. I fell in love with these cars a while ago and would even live with a 912E in real life, given half a chance. They have the right shape, in my opinion, and can be very tastefully "modernized". Magnus Walker has a 912 I just love and I believe that Singer even works with the 912. So, yes... a 912.
I love Muscle Cars. Always have, always will. That said, I don't want a conventional muscle car and, strange oddity that I am, would end up with one of these; a Mustang II. The car would be so heavily worked over, however, the only thing Mustang II-ish about the car would be the shape of its body. From a proper 302, blown and with an aggressive cam to completely modern, Pro-Touring suspension every inch of the car would be brought up to a level of pants wetting, tire shredding fun. In the end, it'd end up a lot like this:
In 9th place, though these aren't really ranked to begin with, falls my first Italian entry and while I'd be tempted to look at an Alfa Romeo, I'm pretty sure I'd come away with this little Fiat... a 124 Coupé!
Last, but not least, comes my entry from the Land Of Tea And Crumpets; a Jensen Interceptor! But because the Interceptor has a name and a look which makes promises the car never quite delivered, I'd have my breathed on by the Gods of Modernity. While everything would be gone through with a fine tooth comb, I'd have everything slightly steroid-injected in a semi-period-correct fashion.
And all of my cars would park in an old-style, corner Garage. I'd find one I like before either buying and relocating the building, or just reproducing it at home. It'd have that 50's Gas Station/Garage feel, complete with signage from around the world and pumps, too. Inside, there'd be a showcase for maybe two of my cars at a time with the work-shop and temperature controlled storage garage hidden behind a set of clever doors. Each car would have it's own lift, it's own space and so on and I'd swap them out, inside the showcase, week by week depending on my mood.
Which may then bring you to wondering why I haven't picked a single roadster or convertible and I can answer that with a very simple observation which is that cars have windows which roll down.
This was fun.

What I own:
For the rest of my garage, the context is that I live in Minnesota so half of these cars will be suicidal to drive for half the year. The rest of my garage:
1.) E30 M3 Evo III
2.) Ferrari F40 (duh)
3.) Audi R8 V10 6MT (for winter fun)
4.) 911 Gt2RS (997)
5.)Audi A8L W12 (haul the kids around some day)
6.) Jaguar E-Type Convertible 4.2L
7.) Shelby 427 Cobra
8.) M3 E92 (the non-winter DD)
9.)1956 BMW 507 Roadster or MB 300SL
In the Extra space:
BMW S1000RR
Harley Davidson Iron 883
My dream garage would be two tiered. The upper floor would be the main entrance where the more DD cars and the bikes would be kept (E92 M3, Audi R8, Audi A8L). Then there would be a staircase to below where the rest would be kept with their own stall ready to go. And the jeep would sit outside, because its a jeep.

That Alfa.
It's the kind of car I'd sleep under every night, but one that wouldn't fit my garage because I'd never drive the Stradale for fear of hurting it. Strange, I know, because that wail is the best wail ever wailed. It should have been called the Alfa Romeo and The Wailers.

I am trying to build a list of really interesting things I really like. So I started new, scratched out the modern supercars. I think Best should never be modern, because the flavor of the month might not be interesting in a few years. For example, I would love a Egoista, but too new to know how I will like it in 10 years.

1: 1997 Nissan Maxima (Current vehicle)
I would restore mine and do a 3.5 swap plus cosmetic enhancements
2: 1997 Nissan Pathfinder
With off-roading kit.

4: Porsche 964 carrera 4 cabriolet
5: 1983 Dodge Power Wagon
6: SuperLeggera Bentley Continental Flying Star
with increased ground clearance, and under body protection. (You dont even want to know, it would give you a heart attack) XD
